Best move in these circumstances imo is to short absurdity / irony and long earnestness 

Worst case outcome — your life is authentic and sincere

That’s betting against human instincts relative to attention 

Outrage / absurdity will always attract attention but it comes at a cost to your psyche 

do you want to make money or do you want to feel good?

tough balance across the spectrum

Good trade financially 

But the soul withers with prolonged exposure to the absurd 

Fwiw probably more money to be made in an absurdity position. At least as long as Elon and co are the great man flag bearers in the collective narrative
