We've decided to believe in something. The creator should take home more than the platform. If you launch on Larry, you take home 60% of LP fees. It's retroactive.

Just want to preface this by saying, I don’t believe this because i feel entitled to more for fees smh. But even 40% is very high imo. We all used to say opensea’s 2.5% platform fee was extractive. Clanker is now pulling in as much volume as opensea currently. But with 60%… Not suggesting you go that low, but I just an interesting change in sentiment I suppose. Steam does 30% on games, we’re doing 15% on games when @rune-online launches. When creators win the platform wins imo

40% is really .4% if you’re comparing to OpenSea’s 2.5%

it's also 40% of the 1% fee of the initial LP that's put in. Not for everything, right? as clanker/proxy would have no fees from the LP someone put in later...

One difference that I will compare though is that creator fees on opensea aren’t reliant on what the platform chooses for them. They can offset platform fees by increasing their own fees, if they so desire These token models don’t let creators choose and they are locked into it. So any fees taken by the platforms is money that wouldve otherwise gone to the creator, had they not launched it on that platform and they can’t really take it elsewhere. Like you could by leaving opensea and going to blur

Didn’t mean for it to come across as a absolute direct comparison, and don’t think you can since its a different revenue model & market, liquid vs illiquid assets. Which calls for different needs. Was more just trying to use them as an example of an extractive model during a time of high greed environment.
