In 2019, I had the honor of being invited to the inauguration of the first skatepark in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. It was a very special experience to be part of this historic moment for the local skate scene. Last year, I returned to the UAE to accompany my daughter at a World Skate event, part of the last Olympic cycle, held in Dubai. I took the opportunity to explore new skate spots in Dubai and Sharjah, as well as revisit Ras Al Khaimah. During these trips, we built strong friendships and meaningful connections with local people, further strengthening our bond through skateboarding.
