XRP:
the ripple guys are the worst. their ICO was a total insider’s paradise, worth looking at the comically bad distribution.

nobody (institutions or otherwise) uses the chain yet they constantly fleece retail on this fever dream of the entire world’s financial system running on XRP.

ADA:
another chain that is exceedingly good at getting retail to buy their coin. very, very few users and totally irrelevant by pretty much any measure.

SOL:
definitely the best of the three. real adoption, great metrics, lively dev community. as an asset imo it’s still too volatile for a reserve of this type, give it 5-10yr and let’s see.

What could Ethereum learn from ADA about talking to non technical speculators?

Let's add a few elements :
-a lot of Education : it's hard to understand crypto concepts at first so this is important. 
-Anti VC capture culture 
- distributed community (africa & japan are very present)
- it would surprise some here but the community is actually very strongly attached to decentralization, fair tokenomics and Blockchain fondamentales.
