Come back to Gnars? 2 years? 

Not having time to spend in Discord doesn’t mean I’ve not contributed. I’ve contributed a lot. 

I’ve raised hundreds of thousands in funding for the treasury, commission the art, made significant donations, pay the fiat operating expenses, promote Gnars every chance I get, onboard people I meet, speak at conferences, delegate my votes, support community on socials, support them by minting onchain media, strategise for the future, share my thoughts and advice, submit technical proposals, coordinate the migration to Base, talk about Gnars on podcasts and in interviews, launch adjacent projects that benefit Gnars, create loads of value building, and alert community to alpha when I do. 

Not to mention, I don’t take anything from the treasury, never ask to be remunerated for my time, nor reimbursed for my fiat expenses. 

I’ve let the community take charge and if you chose to step up to the plate as a leader, that’s your choice and I thank you.

What more should I do?

I know I’ve been absent from the day to day of Gnars, but to think I’ve abandoned the project is a real stretch. 

Who feels this way? Do you think I should be spending time in the Discord like in the beginning? Do you think I’m out of line? Do you think I haven’t done / am not doing enough?

I think that discord can be tricky sometimes because there are a lot of people and things going on. If you're really busy there, I think that a weekly call or one every other day between certain builders who are monitoring different parts of Gnars daily would be enough to update the points and implement improvements when possible.

and also in order to promptly update opportunities, vulnerabilities, etc. even though it is decentralized, there is a team that works daily and knows what is going on for real at gnars.. and then takes your creative and powerful brain and as Vlad said, and mixes this group with skills and a hot build rhythm: wow, there is no way it won't work out very well!

Yes, as you need to get a nounstacle prop for 🌏🐨🦘 for global domination having at least one in each continent lol

i fully agree. 

have over committed to too many things over the past couple years. have culled that right back now with imf having taken my time. 

but, i’ve learned a lot and built a lot that i can bring back to gnars to help find the next leg up. 

let’s tee up a strategy call to get things started and also lock in some regular calls. my timezone is a big part of the problem. 

also, i’ll make a post that i will link below in the /gnars channel to start exploring what our biggest problems are. 

i think doing this in the open is the way to go. perhaps even start doing twitter spaces so we have more chances of being found.

we need a better revenue stream for Gnars, and I believe that your presence on Discord can help us get better direction on how to point and shoot with the 50k that we have

I like how Gnars grew up to live without his daddy, but like every child we need knowledge and advice on how to grow up
