my crazy conspiracy theory is that we’re in the late stages of a trade war likely to turn hot (started w/ russia sanctions), there have been escalations in a game of chicken up until now.  tariffs were high but not high enough for china to back down. so now the best way to win is to escalate to the point of near self destruction, but i could also just be retarded

or trump is a russian operative and brics have arrived at the fall of an empire 😅
