"The video is a split screen of two tracking shots recorded en route through East Berlin on February 4th, 1990, and again on February 4th, 2020. In 1990, I recorded a tracking shot from a car window using a VHS-camera. The drive began in the Friedrichstrasse in Berlin-Mitte and ended in the Dänenstraße in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg. Thirty years later, on February 4th, 2020, I drove the same route, recording a similar tracking shot from a car window, but this time using an iPhone."
