This is my second day as a non-smoker. Smoked for 20 years, quit yesterday. Was done because of the fact that it sort of controlled my life and patterns. I literally been a smoker since I was 14 years old, so I can't wait to experience life without. Feels weird, but also feels like a fresh start. 💜

You know in a workout, you tell yourself you can always do one more second, one more push, one more lift... I feel like this applies here. You can always do one more day without smoking.

Exactly that, although a workout doesnt have any physical addiction involved and is a pure mental thing. But if you're thinking rationally it should be easy to be smoke-free the rest of my life. Just going to miss smoking spliffs to be honest hahaha.

I wonder if sports can actually be addictive though. Not to the same extent as smoking of course. Because when I stop working out (cross training, HIIT workout) it feels like there's something wrong with me. Haha! Maybe you can find the discipline to do exceptions later on.
