@betashop.eth I’d like to suggest reducing the minimum Moxie split for channels and Farcaster network fans to around 5% each or there about. 

This way, we lot can focus more on rewarding our direct fans and encourage greater adoption to the FTs. Prioritizing our loyal supporters will help make our Fan tokens more impactful.

It would be great to see what other MoxieMaxis think—maybe a poll could help gauge the community’s opinion on this suggestion

I think it’s been put into perspective, the 10% given to farcaster network Fans I think serves as a safety net for FT holders, a sort of risk proof measure that guarantees that at least one FT can’t be be driven to 0

So I support the 10% given.

What do you think would be the difference between the 10% and the 5% being suggested

Have you thought of how the moxies are being earned in the first place ? 

For example: I post a cast and
It earns 200k moxies, wouldn’t  I want my Fan token holders to earn more?

Other than the network /
Channel (mind you I just wanna reduce the earnings of the network and the channel so my fans earn more )

It adds up over time

If weekly Farcaster network earns 200k moxie on 10%, on 5% Farcaster network will be earning 100k

That will be a big difference to the fans that have invested in the FTs, it’s about the principle

Human nature will set in and people will sell if a reduction is made, case would have been different if it started out at 5% in the first place. lol
