@betashop.eth I’d like to suggest reducing the minimum Moxie split for channels and Farcaster network fans to around 5% each or there about. This way, we lot can focus more on rewarding our direct fans and encourage greater adoption to the FTs. Prioritizing our loyal supporters will help make our Fan tokens more impactful. It would be great to see what other MoxieMaxis think—maybe a poll could help gauge the community’s opinion on this suggestion Thanks!

I think it’s been put into perspective, the 10% given to farcaster network Fans I think serves as a safety net for FT holders, a sort of risk proof measure that guarantees that at least one FT can’t be be driven to 0 So I support the 10% given.

I think they won’t want to reduce the split to 5% because of so called "moxie farmers", they’re currently trying to eradicate or atleast reduce moxie farming we’ve already seen the moxie team reduce the total amount of moxie gotten from reactions, I think they did this mostly because of the constant reply baits and farming so I don’t think they would consider reducing the split. although I think the 5% split is a good idea and I also don’t believe in moxie farming I just think everyone should reply to who they want to and have a good time on the app.

Reducing the Moxie split to 5% is actually a great idea but it may risk losing a lot of engagement. I personally think that a better approach could be adding extra rewards/incentives/bonuses for loyal fans instead of lowering the split too much. This way, you can still show appreciation to your core supporters without sacrificing the network's overall impact. A poll would be the best way to get the general public opinion as well 👍🏾

Hey fam, I think that's a good idea but here's what I think about it: Tho, it's true that if @betashop were to reduce the minimum Moxie splits for channels and Farcaster network fans to around 5% direct fans would benefit as there would be increased rewards for direct fans. And yeah, that would also encourage users in Farcaster to purchase or adopt fan tokens; and also that would make fan tokens more impactful. Still, I'd suggest you also consider the downside. If @betashop were to implement this; it would affect the network growth negatively since there'd be reduction in revenue for channels and Farcaster network fans. So, here's my suggestion: First, there should be a tiered reward system that offer Hugh rewards for loyal supporters and it's better if you adjust the Moxie percentage based on fan engagement . And try offering additional rewards for meeting some specific milestones;

yep i am aggree With lower revenue share percentages, creators may feel more flexibility in setting prices and reward structures for their fans, allowing for more varied and perhaps more personalized strategies for each fan community.

Reducing the Moxie split would be a real game changer, users invest in fan tokens and have some extra rewards, thus being a win-win for everyone. More people buying into fan tokens would mean more capital flowing into the network, which could lead to some serious growth. Change always comes with a few hiccups though, so it's important to keep an eye on the bigger picture.
