@betashop.eth I’d like to suggest reducing the minimum Moxie split for channels and Farcaster network fans to around 5% each or there about. This way, we lot can focus more on rewarding our direct fans and encourage greater adoption to the FTs. Prioritizing our loyal supporters will help make our Fan tokens more impactful. It would be great to see what other MoxieMaxis think—maybe a poll could help gauge the community’s opinion on this suggestion Thanks!

Hey fam, I think that's a good idea but here's what I think about it: Tho, it's true that if @betashop were to reduce the minimum Moxie splits for channels and Farcaster network fans to around 5% direct fans would benefit as there would be increased rewards for direct fans. And yeah, that would also encourage users in Farcaster to purchase or adopt fan tokens; and also that would make fan tokens more impactful. Still, I'd suggest you also consider the downside. If @betashop were to implement this; it would affect the network growth negatively since there'd be reduction in revenue for channels and Farcaster network fans. So, here's my suggestion: First, there should be a tiered reward system that offer Hugh rewards for loyal supporters and it's better if you adjust the Moxie percentage based on fan engagement . And try offering additional rewards for meeting some specific milestones;

I don’t think it would affect the network growth when we have more than 500-1k users with fan tokens m Earning on a daily basis giving out 5% to channels and farcaster Nah! I think it’s better the Fan Token holders enjoy more benefits!!

Yeah, you're right but if you compare the the number of users who have fan tokens and those who don't; those without fan tokens are higher than those who don't. Personally, I think it's better to show users the benefit of owing someone's else fam tokens, then you let it happen naturally. Slowly, but surely the number of users with fan tokens will gradually increase and yeah @betashop can implement this i think. Overalls, it depends on the majority who agrees to this; for me I'm here to have fun and make money on Farcaster without fan tokens or not lol. And yeah, here's my honest response.

Remember I stated the minimum percentage for setting the split. Meaning those with fan tokens can prioritize their Fans Over the channel fans and network fans. If you don’t have a fan token,,,,fine it remains the same! @betashop.eth

Yeah, I kinda get where you're going. Well, it depends on the user tho; if they're trying to grow their channels they'II reward more to those active on the channels. But if they're trying to grow their personal account, they'll reward fam token holders more. Well, it also applies if they're trying to do Both; they can split the distribution process equally depending on the user. I love your suggestion, and an awesome one at the but I'II let the majority take the vote. And yeah, it's kinda nice having this conversation with you; reminds me when I did a debate back in middle school lol; both always try to prove a point haha. But, in conclusion tho, fam tokens are kinda of an investment for those who own it; so buy someone's fan tokens that are active and regularly contribute and you might just go up in value, and have fun along the way lol
