I'm going to keep my content there strictly on react native topic. I don't want to get banned for being pro crypto, etc.

Somehow turning what was supposed to be a decentralized network into a deeply centralized nanny state It's definitely ok to reduce spam and abuse but they're taking it to another level

not sure how this is meaningfully different to what warpcast is doing. What am I missing?

Warpcast de-ranks spam it doesn't ban their accounts. Casts from de-ranked accounts are still in the hubs and can be accessed via other clients. Bluesky has only one centralized index used by all clients. If it doesn't index your PDS data, you're gone. They also filter out from feeds rude, sensitive, intolerance, misinformation, etc. posts.
