Has anyone here used a Framework laptop with Linux? I'm considering getting one, and I REALLY like the idea of a laptop I can actually repair and upgrade like I do with my desktop.

Looking for a thorough, honest review of using Linux on a Framework laptop written by someone on Farcaster.

I’m curious about daily annoyances, things this work great, etc.

Whenever I see posts from people using Framework laptops and tinkering with Linux makes me happy I use a Mac. I don't really want to deal with any of that. I did, a long time ago.

The great thing about Linux Is that you can tinker with it if you want, but you can also just use an easy to use distro and not have to put any extra effort into it.

Right, back in the day I used Gentoo so I had to compile everything and a lot of tinkering.

I also used Ubuntu and SUSE which worked more out of the box.
