Meta's quarterly average revenue per user (ARPU) US users are are 3-12x more revenue generating than everywhere else.

That's why, for many, it makes sense to focus on high revenue markets than to expand to markets where revenues are low. Having 1B users looks sexy but might not be worth the cost.
