I don't know why even though I grew up playing the original Gameboy I have zero interest in playing this. i.e. I rather play Tetris Effect than the original GB Tetris

Admittedly I’ve been playing them and they’re a lot simpler than I remember. If I was still actively playing games I’d probably find them not worth it.
