What's the cheapest service that lets you spin up and down servers running docker containers programmatically?

There’s https://fly.io and while it’s not super cheap, if you account for the fact that they allow you to scale to 0 (and scale in response to requests/traffic) it may actually be competitive.

I doubt it's the cheapest but I'm really happy with Google cloud run. It's dead simple, easily configured with terraform and scales down to 0.
