Spent half of today at the NYC High School CS Fair showing students what's possible vibecoding with AI tools like lovable, Cursor, Replit, Bolt etc with @web3pm & @brenner.eth It was a treat watching their minds get blown as we built full websites and games in minutes - the highlight of my month! ~25% of students hadn't even tried ChatGPT before. Seeing their faces when we prompted a complete webpage about their interests (vintage clothing, horses, you name it) in real-time was priceless. Giving them a public link at the end of a few minutes to share with their family and friends was really enjoyable. One student built a flag guessing game with @web3pm that was really fun! Something that would have taken weeks to learn and code from scratch just a year ago. https://flag-guess-around-the-world.lovable.app/ I was curious for their POV on AI – there’s a mix of mix of fear and excitement for sure (understandably). They're both concerned about the future AND eager to build with the tools. 1/

The most enjoyable moment for me was watching students transition from "wow, that's cool" to "wait, I could build MY idea with this" in real-time. The mental switch from consumer to creator. I met one student who was already selling online but needed an improved website and absolutely *lit up* when he saw the potential. Despite the pervasiveness of AI in my life, it was a solid reminder that is not the de facto state for most people. So great to meet many youths today! Big thanks to @bethanymarz for inviting us, very rewarding experience 2/

Replit UI confused me first time I tried it and then I gave up, but i'm sure it's good and works like the others. There are so many options now that you can bounce between multiples and enjoy the free plans for a while. would recommend: - https://v0.dev/ - https://getmocha.com/ - https://lovable.dev/

What i wish for : - online native - private repo if i want to - collaborative / multiplayer, ideally others friends not paying to code w me (as google docs) - ai llm backed in to vibe code when no friends 😭😭 or to start - one subscription for all my apps, not per app - javascript & python tech stacks for supporting 1k users max , database included im not looking to serverless backend too much
