Kowloon Walled City (KWC) is a huge city block with 10-16 floors on the old Hong Kong airport route, covering 6.5 acres. When it was finally demolished in 1993, it was inhabited by 35000 to 50000 people. The population density here is 30 times that of Manhattan

I enjoy experimentation and am just a guy who wants to see Farcaster succeed. So, I’m hopeful it is good for the community. But ultimately im split on whether it will work or not

Q: how does @warpcast decide when to show an expanded frame Vs. the collapsed version with the View/Mint button? So far I found it happens when:

1. there's another image or link
2. quote casts
3. frame URL only in cast.embeds[], not the cast body

And, is there a way to control this with the frame `fc:` metatags?

I think about spaced repetition forgetting curves for marketing/branding absolutely all of the time. 

Did you just launch? You need to get in front of people again at 2, 7, 30 and 60 days later if you don't want to be forgotten. 

This is the stuff brands are built on.

There is a lot of discussion on Farcaster of getting more people to use Farcaster. I think it’s obvious that you should just invite people to use it. This is how I started using it.

You need to target people who actually respect the platform and would take an interest in the community. They should come from all different backgrounds, but also shouldn’t have giant egos. They should be down to earth people who just like to post, share information, and interact.

There already seems to be lots of tech people and VCs so there’s not an obvious point in further saturating the platform with this type of individual. There is a big world out there with all diverse types of people looking for a home. I believe its possible to build a community wherever the infrastructure works.

The single most useful thing anyone can do to help Farcaster is invite 1 person and be their Farcaster sherpa for the first month.

1. Onboard them

2. Start a direct cast with them (make sure they keep notifications on)

3. Start sending them interesting people and casts

4. Answer their questions

5. Encourage them to cast in channels they might have top 10% (or 1% knowledge on)
