Stack and memory management could be the most difficult task for big contracts 📜 By fixing it, we’ll see the ERC20 implementation in pure rust in the near future! 🦀

hey guys, so while i was working on supporting ERC20 in zink, I ran into a bug that involves stabilizing stack checks. you see solving this has been quite fascinating and i really can't wait to crack it you can read all about my current experience here https://blog.zink-lang.org/posts/2025-04-04-debugging-the-depths.html

Looks like I will survive, doctor did mention it would be good for my healing process if everyone would onboard a single friend to Farcaster prior to the @proxyswap social dex launch on @base

this Einstein quote must be the most abused quote in human history "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." this is hilariously counterproductive — with the only exception being a very tightly controlled lab environment there's a much older and deeper quote that directly contradicts it: "No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man." - Heraclitus this is a much more accurate model of the world anyway my point is do not be shy of starting companies that have been attempted before

I feel like off-chain ZK applications are really undervaluing the potential of just using STARKs, including for privacy-demanding use cases. These days a STARK is < 100 kB, for off-chain use cases that amount of bandwidth is utterly trivial compared to the client-side prover time savings that come from using STARKs.
