It's kinda funny that ERC20 based tokens with an image (not part of the standard) are the new ERC1155 open edition NFTs. Makes sense since using the ERC20 standard makes them more pluggable with the ecosystem since there's wider support for ER20s in DeFi, et al. than NFTs.
