trump’s advantage is that he is funny and verifiably human, whereas biden is boring and possibly not fully there. long ass podcasts are the best ways to amplify that distinction. they are somehow still underrated in their influence and reach, they’re free to do, and it gets them in front of an audience that isn’t reachable by mainstream media. it’s not just him, it’s the people around him doing these interviews. it makes them more relatable—ppl who otherwise thought they were all nuts will listen and think, “oh, they’re actually somewhat coherent. didn’t expect that. what else am i not realizing?” do i like trump? no. but he’s going to win and more important, this is how all politics will work in a decade in the same way obama was the first social media campaign.

I guess it's easier to say you prefer someone's personality than it is to acknowledge you have vile political opinions.

Clearly you didn't read the actual cast, wherein I explicitly said that I don't like Trump. And either way, making an observation about the political reality is not an endorsement, obviously.
