Upcoming channel changes

We're *previewing* some upcoming changes so people 1) can understand and 2) provide feedback.

These changes are not launching yet. It will be a couple weeks. There will also be a bunch of communication to channel owners.

I'm fine with these changes, will help build proper communities.
Just one question. it says only members can cast. does that mean only channel members can reply to a cast in a channel? i feel replies should be open to everyone.

That is part of the design. Made it clearer in the FAQ.
