barely use discord but why’s it not good for new projects?

It’s actually crucial that any project that wants to have legitimacy have a discord, telegram, possibly Facebook at the very least — I work with PancakeSwap trying to help them with their PR right?

While pancakes were decided to shut down their Reddit and the last week I found out there was a copycat account with no joke 48,000 followers on its channel.

All they were doing was shilling, complete scams or useless meme coins, pretending that they were going to be backed by pancake swap, and that we were endorsing their ICO 

(Ironically DEX’s objectively cannot perform ICO’s….)

Point being if a platform is considered one of the big guys, better safe than sorry.

Also why avoid them too? Certain clients prefer telegram, others discord, etc. it’s not smart engagement-wise
