in general i think it’s fair i only have problems with the visibility. if i cast in my channel, i expect it to be shown to my followers, not just my followers that follow the channel.

yea. basically you want more reach? don’t cast in a channel. sounds like the end of channels, especially channels with low amount of followers.

I don't think it's the end of channels at all... they'll just be more like clubs. most communities don't grow that quickly or beyond a certain point. But ideally each group as a whole wants to get a ton of followers aka status. you'll have to be slightly more intentional about when you cast in a channel, but it's actually simpler that way. for the majority of stuff, you'll just cast without a channel, because it's easier and you don't have to think about it. then warpcast just needs to do a good job showing content from people your friends follow, so that you can meet new ppl and see more relevant stuff.
