Tip for folks thinking of moving to LA: if you like sun and warmth, don't live on the west side. If you like a slightly warmer version of SF though, the west side is great!

We all have different ideas of perfect! Mine is sunny, warm-to-hot (~30C) weather. Coastal SoCal is commonly overcast and humid. Not my thing. If we could have Seattle summer weather in LA, that's my ideal imaginary scenario :)

No man I lived in Venice for 3 years and the weather is almost always perfect

If you want to live close-ish to the beach, somewhere like Baldwin Hills or East Culver. If I had to move again in LA, I'd probably be somewhere east like Atwater Village or Highland Park.

only half true!! end of September through December is usually perfect weather, especially relative to the rest of the country :)

SF be warm enough, I laugh at all the dorks putting on jackets in SF at 6pm
