Just saw @dwr.eth's posting in /xmas-music. Can't post there so links in replies. Here are some random thoughts: ā¢ Advent music > Christmas music for work. ā¢ Sufjan remains undefeated. ā¢ Dustin Kensrue (of Thrice fame) has a dope Christmas album. ā¢ God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen is a wildly underrated Christmas song. Manchester Orchestra (my favorite band)'s version is incredible. ā¢ As a Christian, I can't listen to Joshua James' Joy to the World or Citizens' Come and Stand Amazed without weeping. ā¢ Young Oceans' album is a fresh breath in a sea of Mariah Carey. ā¢ Kings Kaleidoscope's album is the best Christmas worship album. ā¢ The Eagles' offensive line does a Christmas album every year. I own the vinyls. Go Birds.
