- adding premiums for better UX/UI - frequent deprecations (docs) - shipping half-baked products fast

Almost everything to do with account abstraction has an added premium. > "We make the UX more enjoyable so users and devs should pay a premium for such service".

On the app side or Infra side? Agre that AA is one of those capabilities where the cost of it needs to go as close to 0 as possible. The UX improvements for users are massive!

Definitely more on the app side than infra (maybe indexing?) As a dev, it's great to build with tools that abstract away complexity, but we're passing on costs to users and expect them to pay premiums (or subsidize users for a premium). I struggle to balance the two.

How do you envision costs tending towards 0? Competition?

For AA the big cost is gas sponsorship, on the infra side we get down to 3-5% of the gas in terms of cost. Maybe it can go a bit lower but i don't think that's the prohibitive part. Low cost L2/L3s drive the txn cost fairly low per user, unless you're doing 10k+ DAU typically the costs are fairly low. Which providers have you been trying? We've been able to drive costs to almost to zero for apps that aren't hitting scale.

I use Pimlico as they seem to be labelled the gold standard. Didn't like Alchemy's SDK much. Haven't tried Thirdweb's yet – any good reasons to move over?

I'm biased but a lot in terms of AA: * everything you need with AA (accounts, paymaster, bundlers) * AA on the most chains: https://thirdweb.com/chainlist?service=account-abstraction * OP credits for devs - https://thirdweb.com/grant/superchain * Can handle the most scale - We do millions of sponsored tx per day * AA on most platforms (web, mobile, game engines) * AA featureset: 7579 accounts, session keys, sponsorship policies, etc There's also a bunch of reasons outside AA: * full stack web dev tools - literally everything you need bundled: rpc, wallets, indexer, engine, contracts * Priced for startups: Free rpc's, free wallets (https://landing.thirdweb.com/unlimited-wallets) I could go on :), you should try us out. hit me up on DMs can hook you up with more credits.
