“Is there something I can do to resolve this?”

and negotiate from there.

Just kidding and I agree with you. Digital transactions just make bribery strikingly easy. With Bitcoin ATMs now widespread, it’s clear that ransomware payments are a key driver of their proliferation.

More convenient to deal digitally is sort of my thought there. Really could denominate your bribe in any crypto I guess. The ransomware guys singlehandedly drive demand for BTC ATMs by asking for payment in BTC
