Users with priority mode turned on, like priority mode. Users without the power badge, don’t like priority mode and want more visibility to users with priority mode turned on. Making power badge more permissive, increases spam. Makes everyone unhappy (except the spammers) Solve for X.

is there a "social graph threshold" for users to show up in priority? i.e. number of people you follow that need to follow them before they show up? 99% of my non-priority replies are spammers (aka it's working), but on the off chance there is a genuine reply there, they usually have >5 of my friends following them.

+1 this i follow conservatively, if i follow you i trust you so if X amount of people i follow, also follow someone (who doesnt have a power badge) then more than likely, they are a good follow and not spam

fwiw @dwr this is how I improved spam on @event waitlists and it had a night and day difference. Ranked by the number of people you're following that also follow the person. Had about 2000 signups for farhack and was able to surface most of the real users to the top.
