I like the per-contract fee market, but tbh this is a deal breaker if the fee rate rises faster in a per-contract fee market than it does in a global one You should design for the worst case scenario

The idea with Purse is to turn wallet users into wallet *managers* Imagine being able to collaborate with AI on managing your portfolio, automating yield farming, implement stop loss protections, and much more!

This past week we introduced Purse This is an opportunity for normal EOA-based wallets to easily add "smart wallet features" for their users, such as sponsored transactions, multicalls, automation, and more If you're interested to integrate Purse into your wallet, just let me know! https://github.com/fubuloubu/Purse

Wondering why Genius didnt move forward on Thursday? Here’s the real scoop: First, the Trump stablecoins deal with Abu Dhabi was a big factor and created a lot of bad pressure on Dems to something about it. That probably was the first issue.

Same but here's an even crazier one: When you bit bash that bytes5 storage value in your solidity interface, it still uses 32 bytes and you actually made it cost more gas to read and write

The most hilarious part of this is that its an own-goal, because about the only thing Gensler said was fine was launching memecoins Maybe they should focus on passing the PELOSI bill first 🤔 ...oh wait

Here's how you index every single Uniswap v2 Swap event with just 5 lines of boilerplate code. Enjoy.

Crypto as disintermediation tech philosophy can have "left" and "right" tinges to it, but it is kind of inherently agoric, which makes it pretty at odds to "big government as the solution to all problems" type of leftism The endgame is the replacement of dysfunctional political/legal systems with code-based incentives

The success isn't due to comparing monolithic scaling vs heterogenous scaling, the success is due to focus on supporting applications vs investing in infrastructure for its own sake The big problem is that infrastructure takes time to develop, so when you need it you hit a hard wall. If you have a lot of infrastructure to scale with, all it takes is a pivot to focus on applications and you can take advantage of all that hard work and easily support it I wouldn't claim to have won the war just yet

The counterpoint is simple: you cannot infinitely scale a L1. There is some practical limit. You can think that limit is outside the realm of common practice, but I don't think that's correct. In practice, there are pretty large scaling needs, and that's not even to mention the heterogeneity of application/regulatory limits Monolithic sclaint is doomed
