A left-wing journalist I know on Bluesky was saying that the push around Greenland is clearly related to the VC-backed Network State idea.

Obviously there’s a big crypto connection. What do you guys think of the project? Anyone involved? What does this clearly very skeptical site miss?

But Greenland would be a weird target for the idea, I think most of the weird VCs who want to try this idea were thinking to buy a small, uninhabited Caribbean island or something, not something the size of Greenland with people on it
