Controversial opinion: the Chinese version of Three Body problem is better than the US one

Is that a controversial opinion? The American version was so overdone in certain aspects and the acting kinda sucked.

I found it kind of annoying, I'm not sure if it was that the acting sucked (not that the acting is amazing in the Chinese version either), but just the overall vibe was totally off vs. What I felt from the books

The action sequences though are hilarious in the Chinese version, I bet there is a night and day difference with the next season (although I know they are gonna go hard with the season of the American one)

Eiza González didn't do it for me as Auggie. Her version of the character felt very network TV.
