Ethereum is the way technological civilization integrates ("aligns") the future AIs without risking catastrophe, instead leading to the brightest imaginable outcomes. 

Closed source AI, ran on corporate hardware would lead to absurdly cruel tyranny and world wars.

Open source AI, living onchain, is the golden path.
