In terms of @waku as infrastructure to push the Ethereum ecosystem forward. It's worth mentioning that one of the pitfall of being a generalized communication protocol, is to be so generalized that it ends up not working for any specific use case. https://x.com/VitalikButerin/status/1798292148883747051 We are currently safeguarding from this to happen by having a laser focus on message reliability integration in Status apps, which may explain less involvement with the ecosystem at the moment. You can read more about the high level vision for the Waku API here: https://blog.waku.org/message-reliability/ Here I attempt to express the APIs we want to expose to other projects, to abstract the Waku protocols. The encryption API is in line with an idea @vitalik.eth expressed to allow setting up a secure channel starting with an Ethereum address.
