I am not fond of projects leveraging on chain activities. Whether it's for reputation or social graph.

We need to move early towards usages of /zk where one can decide what to reveal, and proof, instead of expecting users to dox all activities.

@dwr.eth @cassie @v when looking at opening direct casts and adding it to the protocol, I would love to have a chat and potentially assist as decentralized chat messaging is the original, but not only, reason why @waku was developed.
As it is modular, there are opportunities to cherry pick and use custom encryption.

Reached out to an ex-colleague who happened to live in the same suburb to have a coffee. Was good to have a social chat. Full remote work can be isolating.

I think that if you think this way, you need to have a clear story of what even is the goal of [whichever chain you support]. How does having apps on your servers instead of facebook's servers make the world better?

We need to have a stronger focus on the actual properties we desire: censorship resistance, privacy, permissionlessness, etc.
Saying that something is somewhat decentralized helps no one if there are no clear measures of what this level of decentralization provides.
