Personally, loads of niche stuff and things I did not get the chance to finish years back. TBH I dont categorize games by release year currently, but rather by genre / interest. Interestingly - If we had not games coming for the next 10+ years, we'd still had a great load of titles to engage with!

I'm just trying to get some discussion going, I don't categorize by year either. Like you said, there's a neverending backlog of great games (that you don't have to shell out full price for) so it doesn't really matter. What kind of niche stuff are you talking about?

oh wow, I've played some of these, but I'm a wimp. I played phantasmagoria as a kid, but don't remember much of it. I grew up on sierra adventure games after my dad's friend thought it was appropriate to give me a pirate copy of Leisure Suit Larry. Have you played Gabriel Knight? It's horror-ish.
