It's finally time to launch this dang side project Introducing Nomsβ€” a fully onchain, composable art project for making and remixing little characters. https://noms.build Here's how it works (thread)

Noms are characters made out of traits β€” things like glasses, hats, backgrounds, and more. Each Nom starts as a blank, base NFT. You then add or remove any number of traits, stack them in different orders, and totally customize the look of your lil guy. It’s like a customizable game avatar, but fully onchain. Your PFP just got a closet.

What makes Noms special? They're built on ERC-6551 β€” every Nom is a token-bound account that can own other NFTs. That means your Nom can carry an inventory of traits β€” mix, match, and swap them anytime. You're not locked into one static image. Each Nom is rendered entirely onchain as a composite view of the active traits you’ve attached to your base Nom.

Where do the traits come from? Noms ships with a trait editor. Artists can create and sell their own trait NFTs β€” and they get 100% of the sales. You can define: Fixed or unlimited supply Free or paid pricing Access control (whitelists, token gates)
