speedtracer is receiving an @optimism grant for the /farcaster integration work i did! im not 100% sure if i will accept, need to understand tax implications with 1 year lockup, but still nice to be recognized

Did you ever figure out tax implications? I’m curious about this too. Not much publicized from OP team for some reason

I tried to reach out to compliance but haven’t heard anything. I’m thinking of turning down my grant as well if I don’t get clarity here. 

I did get KYCd though. Maybe you didn’t if you only requested growth grant?

one accountant suggested it would only be taxable after unlock, another said the opposite. but im not paying either of these people, so dont expect either really researched it? i also actually havent heard anything from optimism foundation about kyc at all?
