The proposers are calling this whole "turning Nouns into DUNA" thing a referendum, claiming it'll reshape the future of Nouns. But do they actually believe that? A proper referendum would have at least half of the eligible voters participating, right? We’ve got over 700 eligible votes, yet less than 100 are active, and even at peak, we barely hit 200. Has there been a broad, official announcement to the DAO members or a real call to action from the foundation? Are the objectives clear with the information provided? Has the foundation even attempted to communicate with the DAO outside of these one-sided announcements?

Tbf if 600+ people can’t be bothered to vote it’s not the rest of the daos problem if those 600+ people don’t like what’s being proposed and fail to voice their opinion

Referendums handle major shifts, like the current change in Nouns’ direction. They’re different from regular elections and decision-making processes, needing a higher quorum, usually requiring more than half of eligible voters to participate for the outcome to be valid.
