The problem with higher and meme coins in general is I don’t understand _why_ you buy the token. What gives it value? The “vibes”? With nouns, at least having a stake in governance gives the token value. Holding to sell makes no sense either bc then the brand is really just to pump bags

Higher is the most compelling meme coin only bc the energy is visible and the brand of trying harder, reaching higher etc is contagious. I like it. But I don’t understand the framing that you can divorce price from the ideology of the token

What might give something like higher value: higher consumer goods launching and giving % rev to all token holders. Discounts to token holders. The neat thing about crypto is you could build anything and decide to reward a community just bc you feel like it.

What is the “shared upside”? The upside that you can dump your bags on someone else if you’re early?

Another framing is — if this token had no value (or was non transferable) would anyone care about it?
