I donated blood yesterday, and this morning I've seen big changes in my whoop recovery score: HRV down, RHR up, and elevated stress levels impacted my sleep. This is all super abnormal for me.

I know it can take about 4-6 weeks for the body to replenish red blood cells. I've read that online and doctors have confirmed this, etc... BUT seeing direct evidence in my biometric data somehow makes the whole process more compelling and tangible - which I enjoy.

This is a dumb question, but how does the blood loss affect this?

Donating blood is generally terrible for athletic performance. That said, donating blood wouldn't explain these whoop numbers.
