Received today: Pathways by my friend @v3ga, on @vetro. A very impressive book. I might be biased, but the sheer volume of work and the documentation of Julien's creative evolution is awe-inspiring. Very special detail: The pages extend to dimensions of the cover and are shiny black on the side. Just beautiful.

At first I wasn’t sure how to open it. It seemed like it was in a plastic box. (Once I did open it the fumes from the ink were a bit overpowering but they dissipated quickly.)

That was my thought, too. Had to look close to see the pages through the packaging.

I like this book because it shows a systematic study of a constrained design space and the variety it can create. I haven’t finished it yet, but I expect it will show an evolution in complexity as well.

Thank you Vanessa, this is exactly what I am trying to convey, "simple" systems leading to so many different results.
