What would people close to you be most surprised to learn if you stopped keeping secrets?

- Why keep the secret?
- What is the benefit to keeping it?
- Who are you protecting?

Fascinating thinking, speaking for me, I would say secrets exist mostly to protect ourselves..but maybe we hide the most to ourselves first? 

But it seems a question with no way out, if we are sighted, is it possible not to keep a part of us in the dark?
