This is a good take Things make more sense when you see Farcaster as the self-selecting group of people that: 1) have wallets installed and know how to use them 2) are not cynical about crypto (aka the economic internet) CT has 1 but not 2, and bsky has neither

i left Twitter the day Elon bought it and have never looked back. I think new things should emerge organically and not try to be a better version of something else. The best thing to do with Twitter is to ignore it. That's what I have been doing for several years now and I can't recommend it enough.

I think from a mental health perspective and to better "see around the corner", leaving Twitter / X is a great idea The double-edged sword is: if you want to be plugged in to what's happening in the USA, there's no choice but to stay on Elon's Twitter ("l'état, c'est moi") Perhaps this widens the gulf between US citizens and crypto citizens...
