I got the Pixel 9 yesterday cause trade in value was good and discount decent. 

I've never been so underwhelmed by a new phone; it'd be the same if it was an iPhone tbh.

The WOWOW factor of phones is long gone.

i think the hardware factor for consumers have saturated, we only see small increments of wow factor these days

I think we've really reached a sweet spot to meet the needs of consumers (screen vs camera vs battery etc.)
It's like when was the last time the clarinet got a real hardware upgrade? Or a violin? They don't cause they have reached their final form. Everything else is superficial

all i wish is a completely redesigned and overhaul of toilet bowl, idk if Apple will ever do it 😂
