I’m still being struck by how nice it is to have ChatGPT just answer the actual question being asked… rather that reading StackOverflow users answering with “why would you want to do that?"

I totally agree... The serendipity of unexpected discussions is often invaluable!  But it's so painful when you explicitly preface the discussion with "THIS IS NOT AN ARCHITECTURE DISCUSSION" and people just can't help themselves "you're design is wrong" 😭🤣🤣

There's beauty in a group of people facing a similar issue working together to reach a solution, but I agree - cutting out the personal biases to give objective answers is another thing of beauty

Seriously! Cutting SO out of my workflow has sped me up an insane amount

It's the small luxuries people take for granted.
