I rarely use git. Using an internal version of Mercurial. (I've always preferred Mercurial over git tbh)

Very interesting. When you say "internal" do you mean "not cloud" or do u mean like a forked or custom rolled mercurial?

Google has its own version control system called Piper that is derived from Perforce. However, there is also an internal version of Mercurial that works on top of Piper so you can use Mercurial commands to manage your changes, branch them, rebase, etc. before committing to Piper.
