Since my home library is 99% non-fiction, I don't always have a "current" read.
The vast majority of my books are essay collections, coffee-table books on art + craft + dance, health reference, ecology, animism, home decorating, philosophy of work + leisure, etc. So I often jump around and return to revisit sections of my books rather than read cover-to-cover.
This weekend I'm curling up with "The Work Cure: Critical Essays on Work and Wellness" by David Frayne.
I met the author for tea in 2019 while he was living not far from me in Portland, OR, and he autographed my copy. 🥰
Looks like I can only share one photo in this top-level cast, so I'll put the TOC + autograph in the comments.
(Thanks for asking about my reading habits. I've been meaning to cast about books more often!) 2 replies
