Gardening by far is the most expensive hobby I ever taken up. That being said I’m having the most fun being outside despite this summers heat. It’s truly incredible to see the resilience of the different plants growing in 100+ Fahrenheit temps. 

Passion fruit is recovering and was in our “plant ICU” for a few days. But it’s bouncing back.

Once you make the initial investment and begin to reuse equipment, seeds, etc.  the cost begins to decrease. If you can produce enough to have a steady supply,  it could begin to save you money. 
There is something incredible about growing your own food.

Thanks Lex! It’s been a lovely experience. Our long term goal is to have a “food forest” and not hit the grocery stores as often. Can’t wait until everything comes together in another year or so.
