Had a moment where I wondered if I was in my villain era bc I firmly looked into a kids eye and loudly told him NO because he reached over and tried to mess with the blood pressure monitor while I was using it 

Felt guilty and a little stressed until I realized… No, I’m not in my villain era for setting basic boundaries like not letting a child mess with medical equipment while it’s in use. And it’s not my responsibility to be super friendly and explain things (which is what I normally would’ve done) 

Not my favorite example but boy does it feel good to advocate for myself
